I've got a blenny that has been finger fed for a while b/c of an aggressive flamehawk that doesn't give him the opportunity to eat when feeding the tank. Today he was acting weird, almost distressed - swimming around and floating to the bottom. I've seen him act similar before, but not as much swimming around as he was doing today. So anyway - when I was feeding him today he came out and laid down in my hand. I've never assumed this was even likely or probably but he ended up doing it twice. I got a cramp in my arm the first time b/c I was worried to move my hand - he seemed so comforted at that moment.

Any umm... thoughts about why a blenny might be cuddly - should I be concerned, should I stop finger feeding, or should I enjoy the moment?

I don't see any problem I would enjoy it if one of my fish would do that.

I'm guessing now that he was distressed by something... water levels are good - maybe he still wasn't getting enough food. He ended up passing last night at some point. Sucks hardcore
