Cupramine treatment

So, few weeks ago I noticed ich in my DT managed to get all the fish out, and start treating the quarantine tank with cupramine last week.
In the tank is few ornaments plastic ones and some ofc pipe maybe a handful of sand for my goby. Ich was only on my blue tang foxface and yellow tang. 3 days into the treatment all signs of white spot was gone, (probably just the lifecycle) 4th day only the blue tang was flashing and starting getting spots again. Started off with 3:4 next day 10+ next day started to fade to 0 now again today 1 week into the treatment the blue tang has multiple spots. The yellow tang and foxface have no spots neither do any of the other 10 fish. All fish have seized flashing except my blue tang. Blue tang is the only one showing signs of ich still.
My question is, is it normal to have ich still present and going about it’s life cycle 1 week into treatment as I was only planning to do 2 weeks of cupramine. Secondary would it be better to just to tank transfer method using 15L bucket on the blue tang alone as that’s the only fish showing issues at the moment.

How are you measuring/checking the Cupramine's level? Color matching kit? Hanna Copper Checker?

It’s been in there for 7 days, using Salinger’s colour matching kit

dang how do you do water changed because I’m confused i just made the level 0.5 and planned on not doing a water change for 2 weeks?

You should do more water changes.

Match the new water with the copper level in the tank and just change

I also did copper for 30+ days for ich...then TTM just to be sure...sure hah

Do 5 gallon water changes and use the 4 drops per gallon method. Of course you still need to test but it will get you close. Premix the copper into the 5 gallon bucket. So as you take out 5 gallons of old copper mixed saltwater, you replace it with 5 gallons of newly mixed copper saltwater. This way you never drop below therapeutic.

Those color matching hobby test kits are horrible. Be much easier on both you and your fish if you got a Hanna HL Copper Checker. Much more accurate.

I don’t know how people do it without a Hanna checker, it’s hard enough as is without trying to guess colors. You do blow through a lot of reagent

Am I meant to add a few drops and just test the water again or what

You want to get to .5 right, I don’t think you are quite there, I use copper power which has a pretty proven dose per gal

All the ich has come off today, most likely the cycle about to repeat FINALLY my day off work will begin tank transfer method on him using 15L buckets wish me luck
