my emerald crab as you can see is on a snail, instead of eating the bubble algae off the snail shell he has taken to the wall to eat the actual air bubbles on the glass (you can see the area he has cleared already)

not sure he quite gets his roll honestly but at least it’s entertaining

He's probably just playing. There were studies done with various animals done somewhere to solidify the concept and they found that even bees played. It's inherent to life, it seems

reminds me of the video i cannot for the life of me find unfortunately
couple years ago i had the smallest little pederson cleaner shrimp in a hang on breeder box to grow out a little bit
it was air powered so there would be bubbles coming in and all the time he would be sitting there trying to catch the bubbles with his two little hands
cutest thing ever
would even greet me when i came over
most personable shrimp i’ve had
the crab right now is still clearing out the bubbles from the glass just a little further over now
got mad for a second (i think) and waved at me lol
