Curly Cue Anemone?

Any idea on how much this type may pollute a tank if killed off, considering feeding it a ball of kalk as it looks like an over-sized aptasia.

Secondly does this type sting other corals? As I may leave it if I don;t have to worry about it killing SPS>

It can be scene behind the green cap.

How long has it been there? It would be a huge Aiptasia, but could be. All anemones can sting corals and will usually win the war.

Do you notice any smaller aptasia or anemones? Typically if you have some that large they have already spawned babies. I agree, no matter what it is I'm sure it will sting corals

This type I had read doesn't spread much.

curlique anemone, Bartholomea annulata. That species originates from the waters around FL. They look similar to aiptasia, and are in fact related, but are not invasive and are generally hardy.

any idea on how bad it will pollute the water if I kill it. It is a difficult to remove rock.
