I plugged in my license plate number and it gave me the exact model, trim, and color of my car.

I'd assume that info isn't accessible. Even with paying. . And if it is someone gone and hacked the DMV lol

With a phone call to a friend in the sheriff's office, yeah, I'm sure I could get personal info. Legal? No... and no, I'm not going to demonstrate... but impossible? Hardly.

I think another point is being overlooked here. For any person who can use MS Paint, it literally takes 2 seconds to blur a plate. It's really not hard or time consuming.

What I'm wondering is why does it matter if someone selling a car blurs their license plate? You aren't buying the plate, you are buying the car. Blurring it doesn't stop you from seeing the car. If people want to do it, then they'll do it. Just seems something awfully insignificant to get annoyed about.

no i said you canNOT at least not legally. which is why i’ve been saying there’s no need to blur your license plate online.

it actually me very little energy to start the thread. very little. :) i’ve also posted below the description of a pet peeve from wikipedia just so you can get a better understanding.
