Current T-5 DIY Help!

I was wondering if it was possible to take me current usa t5 fixture apart and retrofit it onto my new canopy? I don't want to ruin the system and was just wondering if anyone has ever done this or if it is possible. Thanks for any help!

Sure ya can... I buy t5 fixtures all the time to chop them up and use as retros or actinics... Just label the wires if your not to handy with wiring...

Yeah, go ahead and tear it apart! You are only limited by how creative you want to get.

Thanks a lot seriously! I'm definately gonna do it! I got these new cree LEDS retrofitted onto a canopy type hanging system and I'm gonna use a actinic and fiji purple t-5 for extra pop, it should lok great I'll post some pics when I'm done which should be in a couple days!:bigsmile:
