Ok so here is my tank to date. It has completely changed after it crashed due to my thermometer not giving an accurate reading. My temp went up to 89 degrees and I lost 6 coral colonies, a few frags, maxima clam, and 2 fish. After that I got a current chiller, two tlf reactors with carbon and gfo in them. I had to buy and also given some coral to get me going again. The thing that killed me was the purple rim cap that I grew out for a while. It got up to 16” around and had 8 levels to it. Now whats left of it is what was on my back glass.
Ever since the crash I have wanted to get a controller to be able to have myself and a machine to keep an eye on it. I was just laid off the fire dept and now work at the local fish store and am barely able to make the bills, but the tank will be the last thing to go.
Currently I have a 90 gallon mixed reef with a current outer orbit fixture. The light has 2 150 watt xm 15k bulbs and 2 130 watt pc actinic. I have a custom sump I made out of acrylic that houses my hurricone cat1 skimmer (the best money I have ever spent) and the 2 tlf reactors, and filter sock. I have a current 1/15 chiller, and a custom ATO.
I have a couple tangs, one purple fire fish, bi colored goby (lost him when the tank crashed), copper band butterfly (lost when the tank crashed), blue damsel, mandarin, 2 clowns. I have a number of really pretty coral, a big clam now and the tank is really looking very nice!
i also have a 24 gallon aqua pod that is my nem and clown tank. i have a maroon clown, a piccaso clown, red bubble, green bubble, and a....well dont know the name of the other nem but the clowns like it.
