I currently am setting up a 72 bow front reef tank. I am looking at lighting and found a deal on the current-usa satellite plus lighting system. would that be OK to use for saltwater soft corals even though it is made for freshwater? It looks better than the orbit which is the same company, but made for saltwater. thanks for your input!

I'm thinking you wouldn't be happy with either one of those lights. Definitely not the freshwater one - it won't even keep low light soft corals. Don't get me wrong, I've got two current T5 lights and really like them. I'm actually considering getting the Current Orbit, but for a shrimp breeder tank. Maybe look into the Reef Radiance lights, they have a big sale right now. Look in sponsor section in this forum.
