Figured I'd post this up on how to make your own LED mounts for the AI's. Cost me under $75 which is a 1/4 of the cost of the AI mounts.

Two Hydra 26's, non-HD. Love the way it all came out. I used conduit for the supports with custom conduit brackets which are connected to the base using 80/20 extrusions. This way is fully adjustable both vertically and horizontally when setting up initially and I can swing them out of the way if needed. AI sells the cross bar which included an extension power cable which I routed through the conduit. Makes for a sleek setup.

Any questions please let me know.

Do you have the part names for the pieces you used from 80/20?

Here's a link to the part I purchased for this. I bought two of these and cut them to the correct length.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F0G65C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With using this I had to modify the brackets that hold the conduit. But the regular conduit strap might work also. Once it's set into position you never have to touch it.

Cool thanks. Are the brackets holding he conduit from 80/20 also? Was looking on he 80/20 parts index and couldn’t find anything less than $40. I’ll Give it a try with the conduit strap

Thanks for all the positive comments.
I used a conduit clamp that I modified by welding a tab to it so it can be secured to the 80/20 as it only had a hole in the center of it which once secured you couldn't get to. I then added a thumb wheel to make it easier to loosen and tighten.

Thanks for the info. I went a little different with the tank mount but you had some awesome ideas.

I think I will stick to my D&D Slimline brackets to mount for my 3 Hydra HD's that I will be installing on my SCA Rimless tank!
More info to come! Stay connected with me on here for my new SCA Rimless 150 build thread.

I was also wondering how you cut holes in the conduit to route your cables. Very sleek look.

I know this is an old thread. But where can I get this mount? I cannot find any US sellers.
