**Disclaimer** I received a ReefB KoralLED 70W as a sample to expand my tank lighting profile from one to two lights, with the only ask being that I use it and continue to post about experiences with my tank. Thanks @reefb.keni for the opportunity. For the record - I already owned one ReefB KoralLED 70W, already mounted on my 40B Custom AIO Build tank. I found a post here on Reef2Reef looking for testers and reached out as it was a great opportunity to expand to two lights like I originally planned. That said - here we go with my experiences so far...

TLDR: Added a 2nd ReefB KoralLED 70W to my 40B AIO Nano Reef Tank. Solid build, stable, great output and features. Includes suspension and arm mount (for rimless tank), adjustable height and position. This has made a drastic change in PAR distribution across my rockwork and sandbed, a table below shows 1 light, 2 lights, and my current settings during the migration between tanks. For updates on how it's going, please check out my build thread from time to time.

And here is the full review:
I started my 40B Custom AIO build officially in August. This is a migration from an established Fluval EVO 13 with custom 3D printed media rack and refugium, running since October/November 2025. The 40B tank began with one ReefB KoralLED 70W because it has a lot of features and capability for an affordable price (around $120 on Amazon when purchased). I wanted to start with 2 lights and planned to expand from the beginning, but I just didn't have the room in my budget. This seemed like a good choice and I've been happy with it. I used a few customized profiles while establishing the tank, currently running what my AI assistant and I call our Gate 2 Target. This is primarily blues with a little white and zero red to stunt GHA, my arch-nemesis, as we stabilize parameters and get ready to mount frags in their targeted zones.

So, now I've got a 2nd KoralLED 70W. Let's crack this open:

Everything in this box is nicely packed and protected. It comes with both a suspension mount and an arm mount suited for a rimless tank. IMG_2636.jpeg

I have a rimmed Imagitarium 40B, so I created two versions of a rimmed tank mounting kit - the first (located here) was for central placement along the back. This was great as I had no spacing limitations from any AIO baffles. The second version (located here) has a wider open-front base as I have relocated the lights to areas where I do have conflicting AIO baffles to fit around.

As I've only used the arm-mount, I can't tell you that much about the suspension mount aside from being great to have the option. It might be a better move for me to put a track above the tank and suspend both lights, but this is the way I've gone for now. The arm mount has adjustable height and depth (front to back) to position it as desired. Height adjustment is at the back of the mounting point where the vertical part of the arm is attached. Depth adjustment is at the top, where the light is connected to the horizontal part of the arm. There is an opening to feed the power cable through the vertical arm and drop behind the tank.

Here it is mounted on the tank, followed by how it looks with both lights set 8 inches in from the outer ends. I'm running migration light gate settings, so everything is very intensely blue in my office. I also have an image of the lights at 100% and on the preconfigured Moonlight setting below.

Forgive the mess, things are still being staged around and acclimated before permanently affixing anything. Since adding the 2nd light, it has completely changed the zones I was planning to use for my layout. I've generated a table showing my PAR measurements, both with 1 light and 2 lights at 100% strength for future planning. AI did the math to adjust my DanoPlus meter output for the green dot on the front of the box model. When adding the second light data, AI noted it had generated 1 light PAR incorrectly, so we reworked it with the correct numbers and put the data side by side. This also features PAR data on light gate 2 with 2 lights and the zone hydrodynamics. The AI assistant seems to "forget" or recount things differently at times. The first version of the table showed a much different perspective on placements with one light, telling me great locations for everything and how it was perfect for this or that. (*Edit - I've pulled a copy of it to include for comparison as the numbers were even lower on it, yet AI said how suited each zone was different purposes with lower numbers). Alas, this is what it's telling me now, and it changes everything.

I located the first 1-light AI placement version below for comparison on the AI determination and conversions only.

It was easy to configure the lighting schedule and sync it up between both units. I copied my schedule from the first unit over to the second. These are configured via app once Bluetooth connected. I've also set up a sync group and pulled over some preconfigured Scenes to quickly update a light with the touch of a "button". Here is what we are running on for Gate 2 and a look at the included scenes.

I'm only a little over a week and a half in running with two lights, but you can see it's made a huge difference in placement options. Having been running with one light for almost 2 months, I had time to learn about configuring schedules and adjusting the 8 channels a few times for different stages of my migration. I've seen a difference in the Zoa, GSP, torches, and more across the sandbed and racks where they have been acclimating. I've also been fine tuning adjustments to my water chemistry, so that plays a part as well. As I've only been reefing for about a year, I don't know what I don't know (which is a lot), but as a relative newcomer I've been really pleased with this light so far. I'm excited to see how everything is starting to come together and look forward to being able to move into then next light gate as the tank matures.

Tune in to my build thread to see how things are going as we move forward.
