Custom biocube lids

I was trying to reach a guy making these aquascreens over at nano-reef but i have no answer back. Been a couple month. Anyway this guy came up with a way to put a nice lid replacement together. I wish i had more info on it.

Im hoping someone know what im referring to and can guide me to make my own ;)
