I just wanted to find out if 3/8" glass will be sufficient enough for a 75 gallon tank. Should it be 3/8" around all sides and bottom or should the bottom be thicker? The glass will not be tempered.

Also if I plan on putting the synergy reef shadow overflow on the tank, I will need two holes for the overflow and one for the return, correct?

3/8 is pretty risky if you are building your own tank.

The overflow I run 2 returns and one emergency since it's 3 total holes for a return line. 2 holes going into the box itself from the tank

It's going to be custom built by a professional glass aquarium company. Not me.

If they will build it they are liable and assume responsibility so it shouldn't be an issue
