I got a quote on a custom glass tank this morning and found out that the glass thickness they use is 3/8" around all sides I believe. The tank is a 75 gallon (48 x 18 x 21) and will have at least 75 pounds of live rock plus what the water weighs obviously and any other coral I add. Do you think this will be thick enough to hold up the weight? It is not tempered glass. If I do get tempered would I have to do all pieces of glass or just the bottom?

3/8 would be standered for that size.
I used 1/2 on mine and my front panel is 72x24

Did you use 1/2 inch all around or just on a certain piece of glass?

Also is yours tempered or not?

1/2 on front bottom and back 1/4 on sides (cost)
front and bottom are tempered (tempered takes alittle more beating...)
the bake is anneled so I could drill it
