I need help cutting this without using the scissors, so I can just cut a bunch at one. I tried using paper cutter but it didnt really have a sharp edge so it didnt work. Anybody tried cutting this without using scissors ? any other methods ?
These will essentially go in to filter cups for red sea sump. I cut them in long strips and push them down? do you guys cut in discs ?

i use this exact floss and i can honestly say Scissors are the most easy way of doing it. Only other way i know of is a enlarged Box cutter that has a new blade on it but your likely to damage whats under the floss as your cutting

Maybe I can use box cutter with sharp knife and go to town pressing down with metal ruler, but ye so far been using scissors. Was trying to make my life easier.

Gotcha. I've found the straight edge with a knife to be an accident waiting to happen. How many pieces do you have to cut, and how often?

if you see its 24 foot long so wanted to cut maybe 4 inch strips and be done with it. I have to cut probably every 3-4 days 2 of them. its not that much but wanted to make it faster. Guess will continue using scissors. lol

use a rotary cutter for quilting it's a razor, that's wheel shaped, with a handle. that's what I'd do.

I don't blame you for trying to speed that up!

Know anyone at a sheet metal fabrication shop?
Metal shear will do the trick!
