Hi!

We have a 65L tank. Currently just live rock and some invertebrates but planning to add fish soon. We got a hang on back protein skimmer which has good reviews the only issue is our tank has a lid so we can’t get the skimmer to sit at the right level with it closed. Husband had read about people cutting a hole in the lid for the skimmer to sit through. Has anyone done this or does anyone have any other alternatives. Our tank does not have a seperate sump area for the skimmer to sit in etc.

Thanks

What kind of lid do you have??

It’s just like a hard plastic lid? The tank is a Lovefish panorama tank.
