Aquavitro division 500 protein skimmer

So I have a aquarium vitro protein skimmer division 500. I’ve had it in my refugium for about two months now and the issue I’m having is that it does not stop overflowing.

I’ve lifted it lowered it
Let it skim with a cup off for two months
I’ve had it sit at different heights. I’m new to reefing I was genuinely wondering if anyone has owned this skimmer before and if they can help me trouble shoot.

Reduce the air amount for a few days and let it settle in, then you can open up the air. If you're using the recirculating kit, then you can use the flow adjustment on the intake of the pump (it's the screw with the flat end). But try reducing the air to minimum and see if that helps? And if you want this skimmer to be more efficient, then I would suggest adding the recirculating kit.
