Cuttlefish Mating at Virginia Aquarium

Was visiting the Virginia Aquarium and saw that the one cuttlefish (presumably the female) appeared to be flashing. Shortly thereafter the male then proceeded to continue the mating ritual. My understanding, though I could be wrong, is the male deposits sperm into the females mouth where she then deposits over eggs she’s laid. I did not see where the eggs were. I apologize if my terminology isn’t correct as I’ve never owned or researched this before.
