I actually looked into this a while back. Blue Zoo sometimes have these, but do your research. They have short life spans, require specific water conditions, and specific feeding. At the end of the day, I wasn't interested in a species specific tank for an expensive short lived fish with expensive diet.

I think these predators are AMAZING fish but when I have never seen one in the 2 major aquariums I have visited (Chicago/Atlanta)and made peace with the fact that I will never own one. IF you do happen to purchase one POST DAILY!!!! It will be fun for all to see it!

I saw some at Sea World in Orlando when we were there a few years ago. I could have stared at them all day. The color patterns are amazing.

What kind of requirements are necessary to keep a flamboyant cuttle? They are incredible creatures, my favorite cephalopod for sure. But I️ always assumed keeping them in captivity wasn’t an option, or at least not a good one. I’m curious.

I saw flamboyant cuttles at the monterey bay aquarium. They flash such vibrant colors constantly compared to most cuttles that just lie in wait.
