Looking for some help with identifying what I got. So I think it's a combination of dinos and cyano. I recently 2 days ago dosed vibrance which may be fueling this. I had stopped gfo for a few days and just turned it back on today. Any thoughts? I was planning on getting a big clean up crew, but if it's dinos I wanted to hold off until that was wiped out.

Hard to tell in the photo but it could also be diatoms.

Could you provide more info? Water parameters, how old the tank is, filtration methods, dosing, current stock etc...
Thanks for the reply. Phosphate was 0.02, nitrate 5ppm. Tanks a year old. Filtration is two clarisea rollers, regal 250int skimmer, current stock about 12 fish. Total water volume 300 gallons.

Phosphate and Nitrate are on the lower end, but that in of itself wouldn't definitely say you have dinos. From everything I've read on the forum, the surest way is to get a cheap microscope to get a positive ID.

Hopefully others can chime in!
