I have a similar situation. Nothing on the rockwork and my corals seem not to be bothered but it is unsightly. I suction it out with water changes every 3-4 weeks. My water parameters also seem to be fairly optimal. Phosphates .03 Nitrates 8.7. Alk 9.0. It’s a Red Sea reefer 350 with fairly consistent flow and lots of CUC. HELP PLEASE.

I'm not dosing Nopox. For while, my nitrates and phosphates were 0 (hanna). But in the last six months or so phosphates are consistently below 0.1, generally .03-.07. Nitrates are under always under 10, lately about 7.0 I started using KZD Coralsnow, cyanoclean and Zeobak, but it actually seems a bit worse. Water changes and vaccuming the sand bed make the tank look great but only for about a week until the green covers the sand again...

Live phyto dosing got rid of my algae and cyano issues. Small sample size but worked for me. I used the algae barn stuff.

I bought 4 jars of eco pods and ocean magik phyto, and that helped with dinos and nuisance algae.

I’m under the impression that your system may be carbon limited.
I would vacuum the hole sand bed into a small micron filter sock and dose a small nopox maintenance dose after that. 0.5 to 1ml per 25 gallons should be enough per day

I’m dealing with same stuff. What are you doing to get rid of it?
