The UV or the hydrogen peroxide ? Could try the hydrogen peroxide first as I know the UV doesn’t work on all Dino’sLooks like the start of dinos. I’d go straight to UV sterilizer and hydrogen peroxide dosing. Wiped mine out in about 2 days after trying everything for 6 months.
I personally don't suggest using hydrogen peroxide in a reef tank. It's an indiscriminate oxidizer that can affect everything organic, including the beneficial microorganisms.
What are your tank parameters? Bottoming out nitrate and phosphate can cause a Dino outbreak.
Adding fresh live rock can help, as can adding copepods.

Good luck!
Thank you for your reply! I never suggested dosing nitrate to any level, I just questioned what the OP was running at. And beyond the BRS video (which I linked to because I do believe they are helpful, if not a sales pitch) I have seen some members here at R2R that have seemingly experienced Dinos after bottoming out NO3. Could that be coincidental? Perhaps. Do I agree that organisms like bacteria are even more capable of thriving in low-nutrient conditions? Absolutely, but do they populate as rapidly to take over the available real estate?I like BRS videos and that one is decent. However imo the bottoming out nutrients, specifically no3, is complete nonsense and hobby myth. Competing “good stuff” is just as capable of survival in low nutrient environments, in fact, more capable; cyano and bacteria are much more resilient. No reason to dose no3 to some arbitrary level that someone thought seemed reasonable.
Yes and agree…when corals look pale or weak, I would suspect nutrient deficiency especially po4.EDIT: I will point out that running zero NO3 and PO4 is well known to be detrimental to corals, so for that reason I don't agree with bottoming out those numbers
Both. Peroxide doesn’t work on every single one, and neither does UV, but I’ve had 3 separate systems that have had dinos and I treated all 3 with both and I’ve had the same result. The UV or the hydrogen peroxide ? Could try the hydrogen peroxide first as I know the UV doesn’t work on all Dino’s
