Hello,
I’d like to know some suggestions on Cyanobacteria. I have it around my tank but very little in all areas. Basically by morning it’s almost white sand again. But just this spot here keeps coming back! It’s also the side of the tank where I feed. Does that cause the problem? I been feeding frozen food daily...should I mix it up? Tank is running for 5 months. Just this past month it started!
cuc consist of 4 trochus snails, 2 Cerith snails, 2 blue legged and 2 scarelt hermits. I was doing bi weekly water changes..now going to do weekly water change.
thanks

First make sure your Nitrate and Phosphate are not zero.
That condition brings pests.

If they are zero, get them up to normal range.

If they are in normal range, you can consider carbon dosing.

Most of the time it just disappears on its own as the tank hosts a much larger population of the good guys bacteria in maturity.

suck that crap out but try and not disturb the sand as much as possible.
