Hey, How would one know that their tank is actually cycled? I know it's something with phosphates and nitrites and nitrates but i dont know the correlation between all of them, online research gives me different answers.
Here are my parameters with the correlated nutrients, And my tank is about 5-6 months old and had fought dinos previously.
Thank you :)

0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
≈ 0.1 Phosphate
≈ 10 Nitrate

When your tank can process 2ppm ammonia overnight.

How does one dose ammonia? is it over feeding? and what time frame is overnight? 6 hours? 12 hours?

You would want to use ammonium chloride. But I dont think you need to. How did you cycle the tank?
Thank you, honestly I dont know how I cycled it, I have live rock and dosed some neo nitro and neophos for the dinos for sometime and my tank became clearer and my parameters seemed right from what I knew.

If its live rock it was cycled when you put in the rock. Actual live wet rock. Not life rock or some of the other things companies name their dry rock. Was the rock you used from the ocean or a store?

I have 2 Pieces, One was wet, and one was dry when I got it, and I got em both from a store.

The wet one may have been actual live rock depending on where they got it from and how long it had been wet. The dry was not live.
