Cycling a 10 gal QT

Read today you can't cycle a 10 gallon tank. Does not seem logical to me, so what does the group know?

Ummm....what? Where did you read that?

Fairly certain ALL tanks can be cycled regardless if size or if they are saltwater or freshwater. Its just that larger tanks take longer to cycle, and smaller tanks are more difficult to keep stable as one little thing can throw off parameters much more easily than in larger tanks.

Heck, I am cycling a 10 gallon as we speak.

Could hold true if there's no media of any sort to hold for the bacteria to grow. Not sure what the purpose would be though.
