If you used dry rock and no ammonia source its likely not cycled. But you put in live rock also depending on how much live rock you would have the starts of a skip cycle. That mean live rock goes in tank and light stocking of fish and no cycle. All depends on how much live rock was added.

I also saw mention of an algae scrubber this is an area designed to grow algaes that could grow in tank but its given an area more favorable so its grows there and pull nutrients from the water. Not a tool to scrap algae off glass.
