Instructions told me to put it at 2ppm...still at 2ppm
Using api(i know i know, not the best haha)
The test kit is just fine til you get down to .25 ammonia. At that point the kit may show ammonia when you have none
Waterbox 220.6, marco rock scape with dry sand 78 degrees, skimmer off and socks out...some rubble down in sump as well
Looks good. Nice clean tank, Take pictures because it will never look that clean and white again.

Day 5....still 2ppm ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, ph 8.3
What the heck ? Instuctions say this cycle should be happening.
Add more bacteria?

More bacteria could help and wont hurt but its just a waiting game.

The cycle is happening just not showing the result.
Chances are it will suddenly drop like a rock.

Go back and re-read your own post. Post #3 that is.

I can for sure report from the field (several cycling message simult) that brightwell products work, but are half as fast as typical cycling products.

I wouldnt use brightwell for fish-in cycling based on how slow the ammonia control is taking in several cycles we're running right now. one of them we had to goose a little fritz to speed up/

you are done, your tests are wrong. Fritz = 48 hrs till locked in,

add fish now they live. Plus we want to track your outcome in false stalled cycle threads, which coincidentally have no seneye owners.
