I am fighting cyno, manual removal, and working on Dr. Tim's renewal, and will go to Cleanup as directed. Progress is being made, but when I tested yesterday, I came up with zero nitrate and .1 phosphates. I have added some nitrate to bump it back up, my question is, should I remove my small Chaeto from my refugium? Could it be stripping too much from my system?

Salt 1.026
PH 8.5
Alk 9
cal 300
mg 1283
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0.1

Today is normally water change day but with the cyno treatment, I will put it off unless I get readable advice otherwise.

The Cheato is probably removing some nitrate, but if it isn’t growing, the amount of nitrate consumed won’t be much.
