WOW d2mini I stepped out for a little bit to focus on school and finish up , and all I have to say is WOW on your ELOS, what a beautiful and amazing tank, breathtaking in every way. Congratulations on the Jeep by the way. Beautiful jeep as well. this tank alone is my inspiration to leave the FW planted tank and step into the REEF world of aquariums. Any recommendations ? should I leave my Planted tank and join you all reefers on the dark side , i need some more inspiration. Help me out please...

No QT on the coral. Just a dip.
The fish in there currently have all been through a QT.

When you were doing the TM, did you send in your water for testing?
I'm trying to learn more about the method

I've sent in the ICP test twice thus far.

I assume you do your own testing then?
Of course! Just like anyone else would.
The ICP doesn't test for Alk or nitrates.
And I occasionally test for the other elements too.

Questions on these Dennis.
1. Why use a bulk head with tubes. Wouldn't it be better to just run a singe tube from the doser to the end of the bottle. Using a connector in the middle only increases the possibility of air seeping through. No? I guess I am trying to understand why go through the hassle of doing it this way instead of just drilling a hole in the cap and running the tube all the way.

2. Where did you get the bulkhead from? Lol.

Give the man a cigar! ;)
Done.

Ya, probably... I figured it would be an easy disconnect option for refilling.
My containers on my nano don't even use a cap at all. The flexible dosing line connects to the hard line and the hard line just sits in the container.
I think these just came from home depot.

I couldn't find glass. So I used plastic.
Although I think Dennis used glass.

The sparkling voss water bottles are glass. The regular water is plastic. I checked Kroger, target and Walmart. No one had sparkling water (glass).

Hope using plastic is okay.
