D3200 custom white balance

I've searched and not found an answer.
I can't get my custom white balance set. I've been trying to shoot at a plastic bowl lid in my tank but it always says "unable to measure".
I've tried on M,A,S and P and nothing has helped.
Any ideas?

What type of lights are you shooting under? I have a D3000 and I could set the custom white balance under T5, but I got the same error under Kessils and T5. I assume the LED lighting is causing the error for me.

Bummer, yep led. I ended up finding some other threads about the same problem.
Guess post adjusting is gonna be a must.
