yea I didnt think they where. Yours are looking good too. The darn ND wont stayed glued though....I reglued them 3 times now lol. The PD are open and looking good are they fast growers?

just collected another spawn at 10pm. No idea when the release was. I had the pumps off while I played Left for dead. I now have 2 fry about 3-4 days old. A whole bunch of prolarvae from the other day and a couple dozen eggs i collected tonight and no substantial rotifer culture. *sniffle.

Been out of the game for alittle while due to illness. I lost alot of Mandarin fry and all my cultures. Im all better now and getting back into the swing of things. I have collected Mandarin spawns the past 4 nights in a row all happening at 9:40pm darn near on the nose. Just started new rotifer cultures along with a smaller unidentified zooplankton that I collected from my DT that I am culturing by itself in a 5gal bucket. Hopefully the unidetified zooplankton will reproduce and serve as a good first food. They where too small for a 53um sieve.

Feeling alittle better thanks, I got my vision back altho it still goes alittle fuzzy now and then. My eyes still hurt though. I may be several months before the protective tissue around my optic nerve heals. My back is stiff as hell from the spinal tap though. I go back to the doc on the 8th to go over my MRI results and really see what the damage is and the long term probability of future development of MS.

I wish I could. My wifes point and shoot cant pick them up. I broke my canon about a month or so ago stickign the memory card in sideways. If you click my youtube link you can see some past videos of larvae.

I decided to ditch my traditional Kreisel design and go the BRT route. I couldnt find any decent designs anywhere so I had to use my imagination. Hopefully it works ok. I allready had one incident where the screen on the overflow clogged and cause it to overflow spilling a gallon or so on the floor. I had to drill a hole about 1" above the normal water level as a emergency overflow. I also moved my RO unit to the garage instead of under the sink. I still need to set up a holding tank for it but that will have to wait until friday when I can order a float valve. I have new filters in special thanks to one of the coolest peeps in the world and its slowly dripping into a bucket for now. Heres a few pics.

Once I get some water made I will ditch the bucket and use the plastic tub so I can get a aditional 10-20gal of volume.

I also had a Hermit crab larvae. I tossed them into a 2liter bottle with a airline...Its not worth setting up a kreisel and all.

Got a few shipments in today. My new "typhoon III" got here today. (even though it doesnt look like one) Its nice having 0 TDS.

I also got my microscope slides in. I had a super small spawn today. Only collected like 5 eggs. Bangai ate the rest. Heres a few shots of them.

Mandarin egg around 10hrs old.

Temp is 80. If it was 82 they would probably allready have tails. I saw the egg twitch under the scope.
