If they have never been hooked up before it can do that. As far as the temp compensation I thought that was done by the temp sensor connected to the temp port. So that may be something new.

the new probe temp compensation is news to me. one thing you may want to consider is overall system power consumption. the SL2v2 uses a good deal of power, it is best if you have a PC4 between it and the Archon just from my experiences. Glad to see Danny got you straight and running. that said i have seen modules removed and or added to the buss cause the buss to reboot itself.
