Na I think your numbers will be low. I don’t like seeing all the purple gunk and drips everywhere.
Yeah okay I agree! And yes thats a good point, I'm going to try and be neat with it though. I should have it finished monday/tuesday of next week. Ill post pics of the process :)

So my Cardinals have calmed down and rarely leave eachothers side. Hopefully I lucked out and got a good pair but we will see. I'll try and get a video tomorrow. GSP after 4 days is doing well. Starting to look at maybe some mushrooms or zoas or maybe an acan :p

So guess who will be adding 7 frags today :p They shipped last night. All LPS frags from WWC, chose the chalice and agent orange acan and then went with an LPS frag pack with 5 frags. Pretty new to this so if you have any suggestions or info on this process let me know! They were shipped at about 5pm yesterday, and were on my doorstep by 11am this morning. I ran home from work to put the package inside, so they are currently in the styrofoam cooler in room temperature (74 degrees), but still dark (haven't opened). When I get home at about 6pm, I will immediately begin the acclimation process. Float->Drip acclimate->Dip-> Place. I hope a total of 24 hours in the cooler isn't too long! Im nervous to open it tonight :/ Although it wasn't too hot last night/this morning, and then they have been in room temperature still in the cooler since about noon today.

I think I am going to let them settle for a couple days to make sure they are in the right spots (lighting flow etc) before I glue them in the tank. They all mostly need low/moderate lighting & flow, so will probably place most on the bottom 1/3 of tank, some on sand bed and a few on the low rocks. Any suggestions? Hoping for feedback once I get them in the tank this evening (will post pics obviously :p) The corals are as follows:

1: Sprite Chalice
2: Agent Orange Echinata (Acan I believe)
3: Peppermint Cyphastrea
4: OG Watermelon Psammocora
5: Aussie Acan
4: Glitter Bomb Favia
7: Neon Green Micromusa

I had a FedEx delay last week and our first fish came 24 hours later than expected. She was stressed, but acclimated fine and continues to do very well. Not the exact same thing, but it shows you how strong livestock can be with shipping.

Well crap... looks like the Chalice is toast within 12 hours of entering the tank... The others don't look great either... bad pics but didnt want to turn the lights on early and stress them further. I moved the chalice to a different location in the tank, it might have had too much flow but I don't expect it to come back from that... Any help on why they arent doing well? My tank paramaters right before putting them in the tank were:
Alk:8.8
Phosphate- .01/.00
Nitrate- 0.5
PH- 7.85
Salinity- 1.027

What else should I measure to determine what the issue it? I know my phosphate and nitrate is slightly high, but I wouldnt think that would kill them day one? :/ Struggling...

So I made a rookie mistake in purchasing the frags when I did... looks like my tank hadn't stabalized after putting the two Cardinals in, and I added the frags too quickly. Unfortunately the Chalice is toast, and the Favia isn't looking great either. After reading "Take your time, nothing comes quickly in this hobby" a million times on this forum, I feel naive for thinking I was ready for corals!

On a lighter note, the other frags look to be doing alright for now so hopefully I will have 4/5 make it through! Pics below

Been awhile since I've done an update so here's what's changed.

Stock additions: Added a few/ more frags from Joey at Joeknowsreefs about two weeks ago. Picked up an great 2 head Hammer (Already signs of a third head starting), a Goniopora (doing great tons of new growth), another Acan, some Zoas, and an awesome mushroom. 8/25 I also picked up an awesome rock flower anemone from Joey, and he's just starting to come out so I dont have any pictures yet.

I also added a lawmower blenny to the tank, and one of my cardinals didn't make it (dominant one decided the other didn't need his fin...)

I've spent the last few Saturdays getting my plumbing figured out for the R-100 sump and am hopefully going to switch the old out with the new today. Once that's done, going to get the protein skimmer dialed in and also install my activated carbon reactor to the line. Any tips would be appreciated! Pics below
