Hello!

My actual tank is quite hard to maintain due to some mistakes I did when I was starting. All life is doing good but I decided to build a new tank, a little bigger and prepared for the Triton Method.

Specs:

- Tank: Custom 40g tank 30 x 24 x 14
- Sump: Custom 26 x 16 x 12
- Light: 2x AI Hydra 26
- Circulation: 1x MP10QD
- Skimmer: Nyos 120
- Return Pump: Sicce SDC 7.0

Here's some photos from the build and how it is now. I'm from Brazil so I can't send water to Triton right now, but I go often to US and next time I go I'll send it.

Thanks!

Just a quick update I forgot to mention: the WAVs are too strong. Even only one running at 1% was too much so I replaced for oneMP10QD!

It's been a while since I don't update this thread due to lack of time.

The tank was doing fine but after I added chaeto and started dosing Triton, corals started to pale and GHA took the tank over with a strange smell.

Phosphates went over the limit of the Hanna Low PO4 range which is .6ppm. Nitrates undetectable.

After I removed 80% of the chaeto, PO4 would lower to 0.2ppm, which is still high. If the tank was doing fine, I wound't care but corals were dying and GHA was growing even were there were low light like second and third sump chambers.

I tried to dose NO3 and the problem got worst!! So I realize maybe Triton method is not for me.

So...

Changed back to what I know it works (at least for me): skimmer, GAC and a few drops of ZeoStart.. I'll post pics soon.
