Wow, Dave! It is really coming along nicely...

I added a moded Maxi-Jet 400 to the tank today. It runs about the same flow as the little Pico pump I want. I made it so the powerhead itself hangs on the tank but the Pwerhead is 3/4" out of the water. I also shortened their factory flow director. Its still ugly. lol. I have a few cool ideas; we will see how it plays out.
Here is a daylight pic before the Maxi. :)
I really need to get down to Autozone to get my LED's.

Thanks Barb. :) I did my first water change yesterday. My Firefish are really timid. I barely see them. I will give them a few more days to try to settle in. If they don't buck up I may have to add a small chromy or something to make them feel more secure.

Thanks RevsGirl. :)
Here is the updated FTS:

I added the small green Scoly from LFS a while back for $40. I also added 2 nuclear green and 3 purple death palys. $25

I also added some cheap Blue LED. WOW. When I got the power supply for the fan I neede a 1 amp 12 volt Power supply. I bought a 1.5 amp 12 volt Power supply. I was able to piggy back the new LEDs on that same PS since the LEDs only draw .36 amps leaving me a .14 amp reserve. ;)
Here are some of the LED pics.

Not much new to report. Stupid Firefish still hiding, otherwise the tank is looking great. I have never had a nano before and am amazed at the amount of enjoyment I get from such a small display. :)

So I added a scissortail dartfish That I have had for years that never hides to the nano. He swim around the first day but now is taking the hiding in the same hole with the fire fish. :(

Bummer about the scissortail, but the tank looks great!!!

Yes the tank looks good!
