Okay cool as long as your ammonia is 0 now you can re dose get it green but try not to overshoot 2ppm let it ride for 24 hours and retest then wel worry about the nitrites

It’s possible but looks like Carib sea life rock unless the LFS he bought it from had it soaking in their system for a while I doubt it was “live”

The toxicity of nitrite to marine fish is nothing to really worry about I still like to make sure it’s low though
