Started a cycle in my Fluval 13.5 with live sand and Caribsea’s “life rock”. Added a small bottle of Dr Tim’s one and only and another small bottle of Bio Spira and dosed ammonium to 1-2ppm, added about 20 drops of Dr Tim’s ammonium chloride. These are my parameters today on day 3, do these seem normal? Thanks in advance

Used distilled water distilled by reverse osmosis, salinity at 1.0025 temp at 83°

Yes. Normal.

I’m not one to keep checking.
I wait a month no matter what.

See the quote in my signature.

If it is a 13.5 gallon aquarium, then you should have added about 50 drops of Dr Tim's ammonium chloride to the tank. 4 drops per gallon is what the instructions say. Also, I hope that your salinity is a typo. If not, you need to raise it to 1.025, not 1.0025.

Yes that’s a typo lol. And I added 20 drops and got it to about 2 ppm that’s why I stopped and didn’t add 20 more. I’ve read of a lot of inconsistencies with Dr Tim’s ammonium so I figured it was best to take it slow and add a little at a time

Won’t matter how much you put in.
It will cycle in a month.
