I have a very poor exhaust for the water, single tube Maggi filter, it cannot handle a lot of flow, my Eheim 1262 is too powerful I have to turn it down with a gate valve. Your old style pumps had a different number system then the new ones, so for me that is the confusion. I believe I had the 6000 model and I was going to get the 8000 model from you but those numbers are different now.

The old numbers are in liters per hour- the Nautilus pumps are in Gallons per hour. Roughly 4 liters per gallon (3.79)

So my old Reef Breeders pump was a 6000 model, which one would be slightly bigger than that one?
