Hello, R2R! I've been lurking on this amazing forum for a couple of years now, and cannot say enough how huge a help this place was (and continues to be) when I set up my first reef tank a little over a year ago. I actually first fell in love with marine aquariums as a kid, because my dad had one waaaaayyy back in the 1970's... a 50 gallon plexiglass tank sitting on plywood and cinderblock shelves, with an ancient under-gravel filter system. I even did my fifth grade science fair project on the symbiotic relationship between sea anemones and clownfish (yep - I was a massive nerd even back then). We certainly did not have the colorful coral or technology options that we have today! Needless to say, it has been quite a learning curve, but a truly wonderful (and sometimes frustrating) one. Thank you so much, and I really look forward to learning more from all of you!
