De-Rimming a 20L

any one out there de-rimmed a 2OL petco tank?
think of going it for a project nano.

tips and tricks?

I did with a Petco 15, The rim looks better imo, once you derim it exposes the unevenly cut glass and silicone globs at the top corners.

I was wondering about that. it would require a lot of clean up.

I didn't feel comfortable having it up for a day, those frames are crucial to the aquariums support.

I feel ya, I have seen ppl to it tho. if I was gonna do it I would add a glass brace in the middle OR 2 running up the sides like a modified euro brace.
IDK if it even work it? just an idea as we all need more aquariums Eh?
