Found my cleaner shrimp dead in the tank this morning :(
What could have caused this? Tank is still running fishless with crabs snails and until now cleaner shrimp..
The 2 corals in the tank are doing good (candy cane and favia)

Water parameters:
Salinity 1.022
Nitrate 25
Calcium 420
Alk 8.6
Ph 8.1

Salinity is a bit low could that have caused his death? He was doing great, eating like crazy always out and about..

I havnt done a water change in awhile, last one was over a month ago. I just didnt think it was real necessary without much in the tank..

This is my first tank and first death so im pretty bummed :(

Any ideas? I was gonna add fish next week but now im a little nervous :/

What about that salinity? I've heard that inverts are REALLY sensitive to low salinity (might be wrong tough).

I would adjust...slowly...your salinity before adding any other livestock.
