So I have a “dead head” on my red blasto. It doesn’t appear to be hurting anything (blasto looks super happy most days). Wondering if there is any reason to pull it out and cut off the dead head or just leave it. Don’t really want to stress the coral unnecessarily. Thanks in advance and happy reefing.

hi, personally i would just leave it,
not worth risking damage to good head.

I have a hammer with a dead head, its growing 3 heads out of the dead head branch.

Your coral will grow and eventually cover that dead head anyway
