Dead mall

They opened an Amazon store in our mall. I tried to go in the other day but an employee stopped me and said I had to wait in line and pointed behind me. Turned around to a long line waiting to get in. I said it wasn't worth it kept on walking which didn't make the wife happy.

We went mall shopping the other day, made a day out of it, went to dinner and a movie. We bought a blanket at Bed Bath and Beyond for one niece. A few day later we were thinking of buying one for our other niece. We could have driven down to another B, B and B just for the blanket......I found it at Amazon for about a $1 cheaper and with a great selection of colors. Check that gift off the list.

Yeah, that is how most of our shopping trips go lol. Normally can't find the right size/color/model etc. Drive back home and find it online in about 30 seconds................for less money.

It used to be, by me, that the sure tell-tale sign that a mall was about to close wasn't having all the stores with their "gates dropped" it was when people in wheelchairs were rolling around smoking cigarettes.
