So tank was started in 2008, and over the years I have lost a number of fish to old age. Tetras that only live 3-4, dwarf cichlids that live 6-7.

Still have 2 small catfish i never see, a single bolivian cichlid, a colony of red cherry shrimp, and a few guppies I bred for color and shape over the 12 years the tank has been up. The remaining Bolivian ram is 9 years old, his mate died about 2 months ago, both of which i had ordered directly from a collector.

So thinking of a few different options,

-A colorful species of kilifish

-dwarf rainbow fish

-chili rasboras
-or cp danios(i know not technically a danio lol)
Are options for dither fish.

and was thinking a species of apistogtama pair for the centerpiece.

Open to some other opinions, nothing too large, its a 4’ tank but cant have shrimp eaters lol.
and nothing too aggressive. Not really looking at an expensive f1 purchase so excluding cardinal tetras and blue rams(also im not keeping my tank in the 80’s for the blues) last few years the captive bred offerings of these 2 species have really gone down hill, why not considering.
