Fire up your cameras for the December POTM competition!!

This month's subject is: YOUR BEST PHOTO OF THE YEAR!

Even if your photo has won a monthly (POTM) competition, you are welcome to enter it again to compete for the BEST PHOTO OF THE YEAR! Anything related to the reef will be considered (as long as it meets the criteria below)
.

Enter your photos in this thread. Here are the rules:
--The photo must be of your reef, shot by you, and posted to the threads by you. One photo only please.
--Will also accept actual reef photos shot by you (i.e. in the ocean).
--The longest dimension cannot exceed 800 pixels. Images exceeding 800 pixels will not be considered.
--If you put a "frame" around your image (not recommended), your overall image and frame may not exceed 800 pixels.
--One entry per person
--Photos will be judged by a chosen panel, i.e., the winner will NOT be determined by a popular vote. The panel's decision is final
--Among the factors that will be considered are focus, white balance, composition, creativity, and overall photo quality.
--Submission deadline is midnight Central time, December 26th.

The winner will receive POTM Logo under their name and a year's free premium membership. :) We will also work on another prize considering this is a BEST of the YEAR contest. We will try to come up with a little "extra motivation" for the winner.

Good luck everyone!!

We will be changing the voting process for this month's competition to see how it works.
Anyone on Reef2Reef with a Premium Membership will be able to vote on this month's competition.
:clap2:

In case of a tie, the Mod team will assist in picking a winner. Now let's see those pics!!!

Well, maybe this will be my lucky break.

This was taken out in the mother reef, The Great Barrier Reef. And if you can spot him, you will see that the puffer is actually being cleaned.

Sick Puffer wash! I have seen Shrimp on valentini puffers before..never would have expected that though!

I dont think my 2 year old Droid phone camera will be worthy of Picture of the year unless photoshop is allowed lol....is it?
