Decent probes out there?

I'm a newbie to the whole probe thing, so could someone point me in the right direction?

Basically looking for a decent probe that I won't have any problems with that won't break the bank. With that said, if the only good one on the market is the most expensive one, so be it, I wanna know. What all would I need?

Basically looking for temp and salinity. Any other ones I'd need?

So that's it? Just buy a Apex Neptune and everything comes with it?

Also, forgot to add, I don't need all the custom tuning and stuff that the Apex things can do. I have Radions and MP40's and a Reeflink and I'm happy with that. Just want the safety of probes monitoring my water as well with the new setup.

Ahh. Not sure if the apex probes will work with your sys and which probes are u looking for the apex neptune comes with temp and ph you can add the salinity and conductivity probes.

There are a couple of diff sys out there i went with apex because of the expandability. Mine with added modules will be controlling 3 tanks

So will the Apex Jr kit work plus the extra probes? Or do I need anything else?

The jr will work it only comes with power bar 4, temp probe the ph probe is extra. If u are going to spend the money just go to the apex sys comes with power bar 8, temp and ph probes
