After nearly two years of having no tank I've decided I've had enough and will finally be getting back into the game. Current plans are to modify a Deep Blue 30 frag tank to be similar to IM's Lagoon 25 with the exception of a larger skimmer chamber to allow for a bigger skimmer. Everything is still currently in the design stage so I am open to ideas and suggestions but as it sits I will be going with the following...

Deep Blue 30G - Skimmer chamber large enough to fit either SCA 301 or 302 then reduce back to 4" chamber to allow for more display space.
OR T247 LED Light
Custom Built Stand
2 Koralia 750
Tropic Eden Reef Flakes
Marco Rocks with Real Reef mixed in to seed

Thanks, I had it on my 40 breeder and loved it as well. Forgot to add the return pump so far I'm considering the sicce silent 1 but open to suggestions again.

Now considering all of the sca skimmer models, the omega 130, somatic 60s, simplicity 120DC I know that most are rated far above what i need but I plan to having this tank heavily stocked and fed often to allow the best coral growth so I think the higher ratings will help. I am open to suggestions as most of these skimmers have great reviews.

What fish are you thinking of getting?
