I have the exact same tank and I like how you have that plumbing setup much better than the standard method.

@Nick.B Thanks. With the limited space in the sump the standard method would take up a lot of space. I still needed the ato tank to fit. The wife was not having a tank sitting outside of stand. Lol

What's up everyone. Ben awhile since I did an update since I rescaped the tank. Everything has been pretty much on auto pilot. Weekly water changes, changing carbon, keeping ato tank topped off. Recently got a use rkl but still don't know how to program everything lol. Added a few frags. Here's a tank pick add it stands now.

I've been noticing that my corals have pastel/ faded colors lately. I test for alk and calcium but I have been slacking on nitrate and phosphate so I decided to test those. Phosphate was reading 0.00 on standard Hannah checker and nitrates wouldn't register with api. The api pretty much sucks. So today I went and got a red sea nitrate pro test kit. Tested nitrates and in at 0.50ppm which from wharf I've been reading is way too low. I've been following a thread about dosing stump remover to raise nitrates. Picked up a bottle of spectracide stump remover so I'm going to start the process tonight. I'll try to take as many before and after pics as possible to show progress. Stay tuned.

Added a few new corals and changed up the scape. Also built a t5 led hybrid hanging canopy. Bought a no name sps to see if can keep one and get it to color up.
