I'm in the process of setting up a 80 gallon deep blue rimlesss. I'm getting the tank from a fellow reefer and am going to change a few things. The return is a mag 9.5 and I'm looking to change it out for something quiet (Jebao?). Also, it doesn't come with any lights. I have two Radion Gen 3 xr30's I got that were only used a couple weeks. So thinking about them, but wonder if they're overkill.

So I'm curious for those who have one or have had one. What did you use for a return and lights? Thanks!!

Tried a Jebao on my 90. Darn thing was way too noisy as the tank is in my living room. So I put in a Reef Octopus Varios 2. Completely silent. Parts are available if needed and people to talk to in their service dept. Can't say the same with Jebao. Kept the Jebao for my water mixing station. Works great, but is still whinny loud. I understand the newer Jebao's are quieter. But there still is a problem with parts and service and they have raised their prices.

I've had no real issues with my previous Jebao DCP's. I have been considering the Varios 4 as well, but 3x as much. Glad the xr30's won't be overkill.

I’ve got the same exact lights on the same exact tank. Also supplement with a kessil 160 in the middle with no light related issues.

I am using the Current DC 1050 GPH pump. Quietest pimp I’ve ever owned. I would highly recommend it, especially at the price point

Well I ran across a Varios 6 new in box, from a local reefer breaking down his tank so going to try that.
