Magic carpet is still my favorite bounce, hands down no contest. I saw one in an ancient coral magazine and have been a fanboy ever since lol

Crazy. That would probably explain why she is one of my originals. Think I've had her for 4 years now and I got her as a frag. She's taken everything I can throw at her and still keeps going. Very picky about where I put her in the tank though. Once she settles she is happy knock on wood:D

it's one of the oldest bounce morphs, besides Sunkist and OG of course. none of the new morphs have been anywhere close to the original batches in terms of color or vesicles!
She is beautiful that's for sure. Had some really nice pinks and oranges starting to come in on her before the crash. I'm hoping she gets that color back:D
What do you think about the old school kmaintl JB'S?

Not sure what those are.. Jawbreakers?
If so, I've never been a huge fan. I like texture over color usually.

Yessir Old School Jawbreakers that I think you would dig:D The bright gold ones in the bowl in the back.

Got to admit, the yellow is really striking. I'm just not a fan of that rough, mustard stained carpet texture :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Totally different glow and texture on the old school JB'S. Starting to get a nice red tinge. Very nice contrast and they are bright:D Probably the brightest coral in my tank atm I'll try and get better pix.

Quick update on some stats and cool things.
I started dosing cal again. Things seemed to come to a stalemate for a minute.
Now I'm starting to get a very small but uniform blip in usage across the big 3. I'm hoping things continue to trend this way.

Let's talk about rip clean for a sec.
I'm a true believer there's no better way to cure a rock than to take total control and remove what you don't want, to make sure what you do want is growing on it.
I'm starting to get gulf hitchiker corals popping up on the rock I scrubbed. These rocks have never touched eachother and have been in my system for 4 years.
I'm also seeing amphipods as well as some really cool fan worms popping up in the sump. I lost almost all my inverts. Lost entire colonies of clams on rocks it was a total mess. It would be awesome to see some baby clams come back to life on it.
