What do reef worms and mini stars eat and do I need to feed them? I started a DSB refugium two weeks ago and got some worms and stars but without fish in refugium and a filter before what should I feed the critters?

If referring to sand stirring sea stars you cant really feed. They eat the beneficial bacteria and microorganisms in your sand bed.

Bristle worms eat detritus unless its a bobbit they what comes near their hole.

I got the reef worms and mini stars from Indo Pacific Reef farm. Don't think the mini stars are like the big sand sifting stars that eat the life out of the sand. They were really small.

I will chime in @Lasse as i think he will have better advice for your sand bed. I have never actually done dsb. I think he runs some variation of it currently.
